Having achieved the highest levels of global designation for her work embedding understanding, respect and active investment into Cultural Heritage and Sustainability as vital dimensions of the economic and social fabric of nations including:

● UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador (from 06/2017) in recognition of her commitment to heritage protection and preservation as pillars for sustainable development, and her contribution to responsible tourism and community participation.

● Arab Heritage Person Award (2018) as the first woman and the first Jordanian to be selected for this award.

● World Monuments Fund (2019) Watch Award for her lifelong work in cultural heritage and advocacy for preservation as a stimulus for economic development.

● University of Coventry (2019) Honorary Doctorate in recognition of extensive contribution to sustainable development, responsible tourism, and cross-cultural peace building.
